Taking a stand. (Free Resource!)

This month Listen Up Mentor has written a resource tilted 'My Anxiety'. This two-page resource aims to help children and young people (and some adults) understand the difference between being anxious and having anxiety. The resource goes on the to say that, being anxious is actually OK and is healthy. Plus anxiety can stop us from getting hurt. It is only when our fear starts effecting us, on a day to day basis, this is where it can become an issue. We have made this resource so that mentors can start to speak about what anxiety is. Our media has a focus on mental health, and some are passing the blame. We are not going to give the blame; instead, we have decided to to do something about it.
